I have had Fibromyalgia for 9 years. My Dad died and well I was devastated, a few days after he died my body developed a strange rash that lasted for weeks. the years following I started developing headaches, I regularly had dizzy spells. Then came this over whelming tiredness, some days I just couldn't get up for work, I was a Dental Nurse and it was a very demanding job and being tired just wasn't an option. The pain was the last thing to come but when it did I came hard and hit me like a tone of bricks. I always thought I could handle pain, I had both my babies with no pain relief but this was like nothing I had ever experienced before. The Doctors didnt seem very helpful so I started looking else where for help. This is why I wanted to help others not only with Fibromyalgia but everyone who suffers with pain and needs relief.
Our Charity FRUK will help anyone in need and will fund research and assist schools researching Fibromyalgia
